ACERT Faculty Poster Presentations

All clinical and educator faculty are invited to display original posters and give brief presentations about their work to attendees at the ACERT Conference. Applications must be emailed to tanyanolan@weber.edu by September 30, 2018. Late applications will not be considered. Poster Requirements
• Poster exhibits must be the original work of the author(s) submitting the application.
• Content may highlight literature review, original research, or case study. Each poster should exhibit the following sections:
o Hypothesis / Issue: This may be a scientific hypothesis, clinical issue, population to be served, educational need, etc.
o Method: Experimental design, clinical approach, educational model, etc.
o Observations / Outcomes: Experimental data, clinical or educational    outcomes, etc.
o Conclusion: Focus should be placed on the value of the content and practical application of the work, as well as how it relates to radiology education.
• Posters may include images, illustrations, photographs, charts, technical information, etc.
• Construction of the poster must be suitable for display on bulletin boards secured with T-Pins. The size of the poster (including borders) must not exceed 36” x 48”. View boxes, power strips, or additional technical resources will not be provided. No tabletop displays will be accepted.
• References should be used to support the presentation and should include peer-reviewed sources. A list of references should be printed on the poster and submitted with the presenter’s application.

Presentation Requirements
• Presenters are responsible for the transportation of their posters.
• Presenters must set-up posters 15-30 minutes prior to the poster presentation event.
• It is expected that presenters remain by their posters and provide brief presentations to attendees who visit their location during the full 1-hour event.
• All presenters are responsible for the take-down of their posters immediately following the event.
• ACERT is not responsible for loss or damage of displayed posters.

Notification for the acceptance of a poster presentation will be emailed by October 15, 2018.

Each presenter will receive a certificate of participation that will include the presenter(s) name, poster title, and ACERT logo.
